Quick sketches, thumbnails, mostly for finding an interesting composition for the use of describing a certain part of a level but also as promotional and pitch art. It is a sacred place centered in Slavic mythology. We were searching for a gloomy mood where something dark has transpired. The type of tree, carved wooden pillars, simple stone walls all are from the late first millennium AD set in the Balkans. This was done for Thorium Studios.
